Today is my Stamp It Demonstrator’s Group Spring Theme Blog Hop. We’re all really excited to unveil our projects (like How to gift wrap a wine bottle), and announce a new contest giveaway. To continue on your journey through our projects, simply use the BLOG HOPPERS links below.
My share for the blog hop kick off my series of cards featuring the Stampin Up Waves of Inspiration Collection. In this video I’ll share how to make the first 2 cards in the series.
Techniques include Stampin’ Blends markers, masking and I’ll share a cool tip on how to extend the wave stamp image.
I’ll be sharing more in this series over the next week. Stay tuned to my blog and youtube channel to collection instructions for all of these cards. Don’t miss my special offer Waves kit.

On the video I’ll share how I made these 2 cards with the Stampin Up Waves of the ocean stamp set and Stampin’ Blends markers.
I used Shimmery White card stock to add some shimmer. Stampin’ Blends markers to create the ombre effect in the background of the cards.
Card #1 features the fun pelican stamp that is part of the set. I layered the cards on the Silver Foil that came in the “Blue Foil” specialty paper pack.
I added some Highland Heather to the wave to give it a touch of sunrise.
For Card #2 I paired the Waves of the Ocean stamp set with the whale image in the Whale Done stamp set. The clouds come from the Before the Stamp stamp set.
Cards 3 & 4 in this set feature the Sailing Home & After the Storm stamp sets. Get instructions for cards 3 & 4 in this set here.
