BLOG HOP & VIDEO: Twisted Gatefold Series Part 3

Twisted Gatefold Cards

TWISTED GATEFOLD CARDS

Today is my Stamp It Demonstrator’s Group Valentines Day Theme Blog Hop. We’re all really excited to unveil our projects (like How to gift wrap a wine bottle), and announce a new contest giveaway. To continue on your journey through our projects, simply use the BLOG HOPPERS links below. My Valentine’s Day blog hop project is part 3 in my series of Twisted Gatefold cards. I used the Stampin’ Up Floral Heart Dies combined with the Simply Marbleous Sale-a-bration Designer Series Paper. I added a little bit of fun by adding a “window” in the silver heart card.

Learn how to make this Twisted Gatefold Fun Fold on my video tutorial class. On the video, I’ll be sharing all of the cards in the series along with details and how to make custom sized envelopes.

I’ve shared the measurements and products I used to make these below, as well as more photos.

I used the Stampin’ Up Floral Heart dies, Simply Marbleous Designer Series Paper and the Love & Happiness stamp set for these cards.

I used Polished Pink for a pop of color. The words are from the Love & Happiness stamp set.

I worked with a Window Sheet to both strengthen the Floral Heart die cut and to create a window in the heart. I’ll share how to do this on the video tutorial.

I used the Stampin’ Up In Good Taste Designer Series Paper to create coordinating envelopes. The label was cut from the Scalloped Contours Dies, and some coordinating Polished Pink Open Weave Ribbon.

I paired Copper foil with the Blushing Bride. The words are heat embossed in white.

On the inside I heat embossed the words in copper.

I used the dark woodgrain pattern from the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper for the envelope. The label on the envelope was created with the Scallop Contour Dies.
