2 CARD SETS
Today’s online class is a “mega class” we’ll be creating 2 sets of 4 cards each, for a total of 8 cards in 1 class! Wowzers! We’ll be playing with the retiring Stampin Up Petal Garden DSP, and (sold out) March Paper Pumpkin “May Good Things Grow” card kit to create these beautiful and fun cards.
We’ll be doing some fun techniques, such as using patterned paper for focal points on the card, working with wood embellishments, and background impressions.
I’ve also included some bonus alternate card ideas below from Stampin Up.
SUBSTITUTIONS TO THE MARCH KIT
I wanted to include some ideas for a fun “alternate to my alternate” projects with the March kit because it sold out and we can’t purchase refills. This kit was so super popular. You can see my reveal video here for this kit to see what was inside the original box.
The retiring Petal Garden Designer Series Paper and Petal Garden Memories & More Kits were perfect substitutions to the kit. Hurry they are retiring, and are “while supplies last” these could go before the video even airs.
WOOD EMBELLISHMENTS
The March “May Good Things Grow” Paper Pumpkin Card Kit was a special 5 year anniversary edition of Paper Pumpkin. It came in this special box, with a special gift of a package of these awesome free Wood Embellishments to play with. They are comparable to our (retiring) Touches of Nature wood embellishments that are in the catalog.
A few of you were new to this type of accessory and had asked how to use them. I’ve used them several different ways on these 2 card sets. I love them plain, and customized. See the video for more details on how to use these fun embellishments. Be sure to stock up on the Touches of Nature wood embellishments before they go extinct.

MONITOR STAND
I shared this previously on Facebook (and a previous video) and have received so many requests for it, I’m re-sharing. It’s a genius Big Shot Organizer Stand idea from a fellow demo. This is a monitor stand from Target, the drawer fits the cutting pads and platforms/accessories perfectly.

I am watching this video and am blown away by this months is card kit with all the flowers. It is the best card kit yet. Her instructional video was very helpful. Thanks a lot.
Very good video! Love all of the cards.
I think this has been my all time favorite PP Kit.
After watching your video I went back and ordered 2 packs of the Petal Garden DSP as of 1:25 a.m. CST 4/26 it was still in stock.
I say I went back and placed another order because I placed an order less than 24 hours ago. So this is the 3rd for the month and next week I will place another order to get catalogs and such. But after seeing what you created with that DSP I had to jump on that paper. I haven’t been into card making, 3-D projects and scrapbooking is what I have always done but I’m starting to get into more cardmaking.
I am a demo (for just over a year now) and I follow you for inspiration and you never disappoint.
Thanks!
Just discovered your tutorials – Love them.
