CARD
Today’s gorgeous “wow” card is part 2 of my Stampin Up Sweet Soiree Suite Series. I kicked this series off yesterday with a wedding / party favor gift set (see below). All of the This is a fun twist on the “window” card. Each blog post in my series will feature instructions and measurements for the card as an added bonus.
Designed by Michele Beesley, Michele is a Stamp It Group demonstrator and a brand new blogger ( she literally just started this week). Check out her new blog here.
HOW DO I MAKE IT?
Stamp: Sponge the stencil with Peekaboo Peach on the Very Vanilla panel. Stamp the flowers using Calypso Coral and Peekabook Peach inks. Sponge the edges of the Very Vanilla panel with Calypso Coral ink. Stamp the greeting in Early Espresso ink in lower left corner. Stamp off the solid image on scrap paper to make it a shade lighter, then stamp the outlines over the top full on ink color for the 2 tone look.
Embellish: Color the Rhinestones and the tips of the die cut foliage with the Bronze Stampin’ Blends Marker. Bruch Wink of Stella Glitter Brush over the tips of the foliage, and the flowers.
Big Shot: Using the Layering Squares cut scallop squares from Peekaboo Peach and Very Vanilla, cut a square from Vellum Card Stock.
Assembly: Assemble the card with Snail Adhesive, for the main panels. Use Mini Glue Dots to adhere the flowers and leaf die cut outs to each other, then dimensionals to stick the flowers and window panel to the card base.
