Today’s blog post is from guest blogger, Lisa Humes. Lisa is a Team Stamp It (my SU group) member, and very talented stamper. This photo doesn’t do it justice, when you see it in person, it’s a real WOW card!
She used the Kind and Caring Thoughts hostess stamp set and colored the flowers with the new In color markers. After coloring the rubber, then stamping, she cut the whisper white into 2″x4 1/2″ panels and layered on Rich Razzleberry. The base is Bermuda Bay.
This is one of the exclusive stamp sets that Stampin’ Up designed for hostesses, you can earn this set free through my stamp club . This is just one of the many freebies you can earn in the stamp club.
If you love the new In colors Lisa used, check out my new In Color Club >.
WOW!!!! I simply love the colors on the ginko leaves. I’m not a big fan of the new in colors but they are slowly beginning to peak my interest. This hostess set is to die for!!!
Thanks for the beautiful inspiration.
OMG this is an AWESOME example of using markers for stamps. I am off to try this technique!
I got this as a preorder stamp set and still haven’t done anything with it! Now at least I have an idea! TFS!
What a great card idea. I’ll use this one. Linda
Wow! Thank you all for the compliments. And thank you very much, Tami, for the guest blogger spot and encouragement.
