Quick Tutorial: Wrapped In Plaid 3D Tree Card & Rock ‘n Roll Technique

Stampin' Up! Inspiration Project

Wrapped In Plaid 3D Tree Card

Bring the cozy comforts of winter to your holiday cards with the Wrapped In Plaid Suite and a simple stamping technique. The Wrapped In Plaid 6″ x 6″ Specialty Designer Series Paper, with it’s variety of plaid patterns and gold foil accents, really makes this card shine.

For just a bit more plaid, the card is stamped with the popular Buffalo Check background stamp (#147797 wood, #151372 cling). The realistic pine tree image in the Perfectly Plaid stamp set is perfect for creating a two-tone color effect with the Rock n’ Roll technique!

1. Stamp Background

Score 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ Crumb Cake cardstock at 4-1/4″ along 8-1/2″ side. Ink Buffalo Check background stamp with VersaMark ink. For best results lay cardstock onto the stamp and rub the back of the cardstock to transfer the image.
