Bears of the Holy Grail - Monty Python meets BABW
December 14th, 2009
I just couldn’t resist posting these from my boys. I was setting up for my Build-a-Bear Workshop viewing parties last week, and my sons saw some of the bears made from the BABW sizzix Big Shot collection and asked if they could make some. I said sure, broke out all of the BABW dies and the kids went to town. My table was covered with card stock scraps and bears, they had an assembly line of bears. it was awesome!
We are Monty Python fans. My oldest son started making a collection of “Knights of the Holy Grail” bears, or as we are calling them “Bears of the Holy Grail”. He now has an entire wall of Knight bears. We think that Build a Bear should come out with a Monty Python line hehehe.

(sorry Monty Python line not invented … yet)
UPDATE: BABW posted these on Facebook! Check it out >

TOO crazy cute! Maybe your sons should get a design together for SU/Sizzix and submit it to them! I LOVE Monty Python!

Tami - love the BABW Monty Python Holy Grail line! How original of your sons to come up with these.

LMBO! Seriously. My family sat around the Christmas Eve table (waiting for course number 4. or was it 5?) and threw out as many Monty Python quotes as we could. It amazes me how many generations know those movies and “get” the humor in them. Though my nephews are too old for BABW, I bet they would love them å la Python!
