Today is my Stamp It Demonstrator’s Group Blog Hop . We’re all really excited to unveil our projects, and announce a new contest giveaway. To continue on your journey through our projects, simply use the BLOG HOPPERS links below.

On this video I'll share how easy it is to make these stunning double angled gatefold cards. They are my blog hop projects and kick off my series on this fun fold. I created several cards with masculine themes for Father's Day, birthdays and more. And I got so hooked on them I kept on going creating cards with many different stamps and occasions.

I'll be sharing how to make 2 different styles of this fun fold on the video. The first using a belly band, the other using magnets to keep the card closed. I have links to the magnets I used below and on the instructions pdf.

The first 5 cards in the series are alternates to the May 2022 Paper Pumpkin kit. I'll be combining the kit with the the Stampin Up Soaring Swallows stamp set and dies. I created 1 card in each of the gorgeous In Colors (Sweet Sorbet, Parakeet Party, Tahitian Tide, Orchid Oasis and Starry Sky). As of the time of this livestream the refill to this "Celebrating In Colors" kit was still available (while they last).

CARD: Meerkat Pull Tab Flip Card and how to make it

I shared this super cute "from all of us" pull tab flip card on yesterday's video. It is just adorable. Created with the Stampin' Up The Gang's All Meer Stamp Set that is available during Sale-a-bration. The textured background is created with the Stone 3D embossing folder that is part of the Power of Hope bundle, also available during Sale-a-bration. The seagulls come from the High Tide stamp set. The tab edge was created with the Scallop Tag Topped Punch, which I also used on yesterday's video to create a cloudy background. I love outside the box ideas.

CARD: Just a note card from the Home to Roost SAB Stamp Set

Just a note card from the Saleabration Home to Roost stamp set. Such a pretty card, designed by Julie DeGuia. For this background she cut out a rectangle with the Stitched Rectangles. Then sponged Balmy Blue for the sky and Pear Pizzaz for the ground. The reeds were inked with Pear Pizzaz and then use the Tranquil Tide Marker to make the tops darker. Julie wanted a more muted background so she added a layer of vellum over it by sponging Liquid Multipurpose Glue over the entire piece of vellum before laying it down. Layered on DSP from the Painted Seasons Collection, which will also be retiring with Saleabration.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT RETIRING IN COLORS

One of the many awesome features of Stampin Up products is our color coordination. Everything matches, it’s like Gar-animals. Remember those clothes when we were kids? The monkey tags went with the monkeys, making it easy to dress your kids in matching clothes. Stampin up is like the Gar-animals of paper crafts lol. Stampin Up has 5 Color Collections: Regals, Subtles, Brights, Neutrals and In Colors. See the color chart below for the full collection. The In Color collection is a little different from our Core Collection. It's broken down into 2 groups of 5. Each year 5 of these 10 colors go away, and we get 5 new colors. It’s a great way to introduce fresh and trendy colors. The In Color Collections are named by the year they were introduced and the year they will be retired. For example the collection retiring this year is named 2017-2019 In Colors. They are retired with the Annual Catalog officially retiring June 3, 2019 (the date is marked on the back of the annual catalog). Once announced, these retiring In Color products will be "whiles supplies last" and often sell out quickly. See the video below for full details. RETIRING COLORS   Head's Up I’m giving you this head’s up so you can start budgeting your purchases and collecting the In color products you want now. I recommend stocking up on ink pad refills and card stock in these colors now. This way you won’t have to worry about quick sell-outs and missing out on your fav colors. Some of these products will sell out within days of the Retirement list being announced. A full list of products containing these colors is on the "What you need to know" video, and also listed below. Combine with Sale-a-bration! Purchase before March 31 and combine with Sale-a-bration (SAB) and get free products. Click here for SAB details When will the 2019 retirement list be announced? Both the Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog & the Occasions Catalog will be ending on June 3. The list of products that will be discontinued (not carried over into the new catalog) is called the "Retirement List". The official date of this year's retirement list release has not been announced, but it will most likely be in mid-April. I do not know what else is retiring yet. ONLINE CLASS: How to create a Waterfront Wow Card Set – Part 2 in my Waterfront Series

I'm so excited for today's online class. I'll be creating these 2 gorgeous "wow" cards from the Stampin' Up! Waterfont Stamp Set. I have become slightly addicted to this set and it's versatility. Today's card set will feature some fun techniques including sponging with sponge daubers, stamping off to create depth and more. I gave a sneak peek preview of these cards on the Stampin Scoop Show Wednesday. Check out episode 49 for more card ideas featuring the Waterfront stamp set. And my Waterfront Blog Series for instructions, measurements and more fun cards from this set. The Waterfront Stamp Set was designed by my friend Connie Heisey for her Million dollar set. Connie was the 5th demonstrator to have ever hit $1Million in personal career sales. Here's a picture we took after she hit in 2014 of the first 5 Million Dollar sellers (at the time there were only 5). In order (right to left): Mary Polcin, Lisa Fast, Joyce Feraco, Tami White and Connie Heisey. If you're wondering what stamp set was my Million dollar set, it hasn't been released yet. But I did get to name the stamp set White Christmas.
