VIDEO: How to make a set of Easter Promise Cards & how to use White Ink

EASTER PROMISE CARDS

In this free card making video class I’m going to share how I made these beautiful Easter cards with the Stampin’ Up Easter Promise stamp set and the Whisper White Craft ink pad.

These cards includes several techniques that you can do with the Whisper White Craft ink pad. Including a couple that you can’t do with the regular Classic Line of ink pads and why it’s a staple in your ink pad collection.

I’ll explain the difference between this craft ink pad, and Stampin Up’s regular line of Class ink pads (see below). In addition, I’ll share how to ink this pad in the video.

WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN CRAFT INK AND REGULAR INK PADS?

Stampin’ Up’s regular line of “Classic” ink pads are care a water-based dye ink.  They dry quickly and coordinate with exclusive Stampin’ Up! card stock, Designer Series Paper, Stampin’ Blends Alcohol Markers and Stampin’ Write Markers.  The ink cleans easily from stamps using our Simply Shammy or the Stampin’ Mist and Stampin’ Scrub and is acid free, nontoxic ink.

Due to the water base you will not see ink if you stamp a light color on dark card stock.

The Whisper White Craft ink pad is a pigment ink. It’s thicker so you can use it for projects that need an ink which dries slower, like heat embossing.  Because it is a pigment ink, the white will show up on dark card stock.Craft ink is safe for scrapbooks and can be used on wood, fabric, and other craft items.  Craft inks are great for embossing, and adding Glitter to projects.  It cleans easily from stamps using Stampin’ Mist and Stampin’ Scrub and is acid free, fade resistant, nontoxic.

Craft ink is thicker than our Classic (dye-based) ink, so you use more each time you stamp; it’s recommended to keep an ink refill handy so you can re-ink the pad. I

I will share how to ink this ink pad on the video class.
