The November 2019 “Winter Gifts” Paper Pumpkin kit created beautiful gift tags. They are adorable and fun to make. In this class, I’m going to share how to make this set of shimmery Winter Heirloom Frames alternate cards out of the kit by combining it with the Heirlooms Frames Folders and Die set. I also used the Itty Bitty Christmas stamp set.

I’ll show you how to use these awesome folder/die set, heat embossing, and how to make your holiday cards shimmer with Champagne Shimmer Mist. The video tutorial and free pdf are below.

Winter Cabins

Here’s a template to create the winter cabin using the November Paper Pumpkin  box. These will make such great table decorations.

 

“The weather outside is frightful, but inside it’s so delightful.” Q: Why? A: Because for creative folks, cold weather is crafting weather. Of course! So dig into this month’s kit and see what kind of alternate projects you can come up with while you let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!

A GIFT FOR YOU BOX SUPPLIES
Here’s a Paper Pumpkin challenge: Make a spiffy handmade box and tag for a super-special friend this holiday season—and maybe include a treat and a prepaid subscription code inside! Best Christmas present ever! *wink*
To make the box, score 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper at 7/8″ on all sides. Score an 8″ x 8″ piece of Shaded Spruce Cardstock at 1-15/16″ on all sides. Snip the ends and adhere the box and lid sides using Tear & Tape Adhesive. So easy and sure to impress!
 
LET IT SNOW CARD
To make this winter wonderful card a “standout,” we added dimension to those chilly-looking tree branches using Snowfall Accents Puff Paint, then sprinkled on a few “berry” red rhinestones for sparkle and shine.
PEACE, LOVE & JOY CARD
How is this for fast and easy? Step 1: Make a tag from this month’s kit. Step 2: Adhere it to a piece of beautiful cardstock. Instant card! Besides enjoying your thoughtfulness, the lucky recipient can regift your handmade tag!

Each Winter Gifts Full kit comes with 14 sheets die-cut elements, 3 sheets laser-cut elements, 4 sheets silver foil die-cuts, 1 sheet silver foil die-cut elements, 3 yds. 1/4″ cotton ribbon, 8 yds. silver twine, 72 sequins (2 colors), 175 mini dimensionals, and 150 adhesive dots. And don’t forget the exclusive stamp set and Shaded Spruce ink spot!

Refills do not include the stamp set of ink spot.
