The outside of this amazing card reads "God wanted to brighten up the world..." and the inside (see below) completes the sentiment with "so he made you". I love it. These greetings and flowers came from the Stampin' Up! Flourishing Phrases stamp set, and the outside images are cut from the coordinating Flourish Thinlits dies. This card has a fun surprise inside too, the flower inside is cut from the Eastern Medallions dies, and the words are stamped inside. Welcome to my Stamp It Demonstrator’s Group Patriotic Theme Blog Hop. We’re all really excited to unveil our projects, and announce a new contest give-away (below). I'm loving these patriotic American flag "thanks" cards, perfect designs for that special someone who has served our country. Also great for Cards for Troops, and 4th of July parties. These cards were created with the new Layering Alphabet dies from Stampin Up. These dies are designed to interlock with included Edgelit piece to create cascading word projects. I took it a step further and popped up the letters in Silver Foil to really make them "pop" (like a fire cracker). I made 2 different designs and I couldn't decide which I liked better, the traditional flag layout, or the alternating "stripes and stars" (the stars are represented by polka dots). "Thinking of you with loving thoughts and prayers" sympathy card from the new Stampin Up Lilypad lake stamp set and coordinating Lakeside dies. The word tag, background and images were all cut with the dies. This is a stunning "thank you" card created from the new Stampin' Up Graceful Glass Suite. The words are from the Painted Glass Stamp Set, the stained glass window was cut from the Stained Glass dies, then colored with the Stampin' Blends Markers. The corners were cut with the Detailed Trio punch.
