The best things in life are ....SWEET!!! Love it! This adorbs little cupcake is from the Stampin Up Sweet Cupcake stamp set. Loving the color combo. The cupcake dies and the word "Sweet" were cut from the matching Cupcake Cutout dies.

I think this is one of my favorite cards!! It's hard to narrow them down, I love so many. But this card from the Stampin Up Mixed Drinks stamp set is so fun, with the drink glasses, and Festive Birthday DSP background. Especially loving that pinata. It's like a party in a card!

What a sweet "pick me up" card created with the Stampin Up Bella and Friends stamp set. How stinkin' cute are this parrot and pup pair? Love it!!! Watercolored with aqua painters and ink pads on watercolor paper. A hit of the Serene Scenery DSP peeking out, and the Brushstrokes stamp background. The flower accents are from the Jar of Love set and cut with the matching dies.

This is such a "Sweet" card (pun intended). Love the juicy strawberries from the Fresh Fruit stamp set, stamped in Real Red, and layered over coordinating striped paper from the Fruit Stand DSP pack. Great summer card design and bright colors. I love the hint of burlap ribbon peeking out from under the label too. Super cute.

Last week I posted this card from Miranda Mols, and it was an instant hit! Everyone loved it, and I received lots of requests for a video tutorial. On Miranda's original, she added an extra panel for the textured area. I played around a little and found a new way to do a "partial impression folder". So we are only embossing part of the Falling Snow folder. It's super easy, check out the video for details.

ASP Trip Recap & Video: Wow, what an experience in West Virginia

OUR ASP TRIP

At 5:00am on Saturday, July 9, 164 youth and group leaders departed Westborough, MA in 24 vans. Headed for West Virginia with the Appalachian Service Project. It's a trip we've been preparing for 9 months. Once there, we'd break up into 24 groups of 2 Group Leaders and 5 Youth crews, spread out over 2 counties (Logan and Lincoln) and each crew would go to a different project. We slept in schools, and worked hard all day in the heat and occasional downpour. In theory, this experience should not have been as fun as it was. Every morning, we'd gather together for a quick group meeting, and breakfast before heading off to fixing up homes in the communities.

Everything project I have created, or seen, with the Stampin Up Serence Scenes DSP stack is amazing. This paper has the ability to transform something ordinary, into a WOW card. In this card, it took a beautiful flower focal point, and transformed it into a beautiful beach scene. Using the Botanical Blooms and Perfectly Wrapped stamps. Love this!

NEWS: Almost Heaven, West Virginia – our ASP Trip to Appalachia

My son Noah and I are preparing to leave for West Virginia at 0'dark early tomorrow morning. There we will be fixing up homes, and possible flood relief , for families in Logan county West Virginia. We've been preparing for this trip for 9 months, and will be with the ASP (Appalachian Service Project). We are very excited for this trip. We'll be traveling with 160 from our youth group.

How stinkin' cute is today's card? OMG! Just love this. Adorbs!! From the Stampin Up Made With Love stamp set, and background stamping from the Perfectly Wrapped set. The window was created with the Hearth & Home framelits, and designer paper in the window is from the Serene Scenery DSP stack. The kitten and bird images were colored with the blender pens and ink pads.

It's chrome-tastic!! Loving this new Harley Davidson / motorcycle stamp set from Stampin up called One Wild Ride. The silver on silver embossed look, combined with the badge punch, looks like a real silver badge. The Swirly Scribbles framelits are a fantastic-chrome-tastic accent on this super cool card.
