CARD: Rudolph the Red Nosed Penguin – Snow Way!?!

stampin up snowplace - joszetteNow here's an "outside the box" fun card! It's Ruddy the Red Nosed Penguin. He's a penguin pretending to be a reindeer. Too flipping adorable. The antlers are the best, they were created with the Tree Builder Punch of all things. The penguin and words are from the Stampin Up Snow Place stamp set, and cut from matching Snow Friends framlits (save 15% when you bundle together). 1/2" Circle punched from Red Glimmer for his nose and the window comes from the Hearth and Home framelits. The Red Glimmer bow comes from the Mini Treat bag thinlits die. This was a popular choice from my Onstage Event swap card share video. Designed by Joszette.

VIDEO: Tami’s Compilation of Bloopers & Outtakes from 2015

youtube-outtakes2 Ever wonder what happens in between the edits of a video? Well today, I'm sharing a few of those "in between the edit moments". The video snips that didn't make the final cut in my weekly youtube crafting tutorials, and many for good reasons lol. Join me in some of those awkward moments, and epic face-palms of the past year. Some hilarious moments include: eliminating the "middle finger", colored between the moose's legs and broke a nail while taping. My sick "Wookie" (aka: my son Noah) makes a desperate plea to play X-box while he was home sick. And then there's the "dog shaming". Flash, my beagle, makes several guest appearances while protecting us from the UPS man, and one tragic moment with the Hershey Bar Minion (may he RIP). See my Mr. Miyagi (Karate Kid) impersonation when a fly enters the studio. I’ve added a a few new words to “Tami’s Dictionary”.

CARD: Santa in the Window “No Peeking” Card

home for christmas-cnthia millanSome super cuteness from the retiring Stampin Up Cozy Christmas stamp set and the Home for Christmas DSP. The Santa image is cute from the designer paper. The window is from the Hearth and Home framelits, with the Brick Wall textured background. The "No Peeking" comes from the Oh, What Fun stamp set. There is even a touch of Dazzling Diamonds glitter on the "snow" (white card stock) in the window. Designed by Cynthia Millan.

CARD: Wishing You Jolly Moments

Two of the doilies on the front are actually the Stampin Up Metallic doilies, upside down and brayered with Cherry Cobbler and Old Olive ink. Very cool technique. Designed by Kay Cogbill. CARD: Cozy Christmas Card from Sara Douglas

This is one of my “special cards” for several reasons, the first is because it was from Sara Douglas. Sara is the interim CEO of Stampin Up while her mom (Co-Founder) Shelli Gardner is away. She is also a good friend. Another reason this card is special is because it… Read More

NEWS: Holiday Catalog Retiring Products List

blog-post_hm-retiring_customer_1116_us 20150901TH_HolidayMini_en-USWe're saying goodbye to retiring products from the holiday catalog; but before we do, we're giving everyone an opportunity to order their favorites.
  • Retiring stamps will only be available until December 28 and then they will become "while supplies last" until January 4, 2016.
  • Retiring accessories are "while supplies last" now...some will sell out right away.
Holiday Catalog Retiring List These lists are updated daily to show the availability of all retiring products. Download the PDF for a quick reference, or use the Excel file to sort the list. Check back regularly to make sure you have the most up-to-date information for your customers and your events. NOTES:
  • Retiring products are only available while supplies last. The lists of retiring products will be updated every business day.
  • Remaining inventory for retiring products may appear later on the Clearance Rack.
  • NA Note: Due to high demand for retiring stamps, we'll keep producing retiring stamps until December 28 (not accessories-accessories are only while supplies last).

Q & A from Stamping Up:

Q: Will you order more retiring products if we run out before the end of the catalog sales period? A: Our intent is always to have products for the entire sales period, though occasionally products perform better than anticipated. If seasonal products (except stamps) can be ordered and received in time for the holiday for which they were designed, we will order more. Otherwise, items on the retiring list will be sold only while supplies last. In the North American market, stamps are guaranteed to be available until one week before the catalog sales period ends. After that time, they will be available only while supplies last. Q: Why doesn’t Stampin’ Up! just order more products when inventory is low? A: Purchase order lead time (or the time it takes to get products from the point of ordering to the point of delivery) can take 60 days or more. Because of this, we don’t always have sufficient time to get products to our warehouse before the catalog sales period ends. Q: When an item is listed on the Retiring List, does that automatically mean that we have low inventory of that item? A: No. Q: Why is the list called “Retiring List” and not “Retired List”? A: “Retired List” suggests that the products are already retired. “Retiring List” correctly denotes that the products on the list are not yet (but are soon to be) retired and will not carry over to the next catalog. Q: Why did Stampin’ Up! change the retiring product policy for seasonal catalogs? A: During the past several months, Stampin’ Up! has been aligning programs and processes to provide as much consistency in our offerings as possible. As part of this effort, we are now providing a retiring list for all of our catalogs (not just the annual catalog).

VIDEO: How to make a Brick Wall Cut Out Window Card

stampin up merry christams hearth and home windowAm I the only who sees this card and wants to start singing Pink Floyd's "Brink in the Wall"? hahaha. In today's video tutorial, I'm going to show you how to install a window in a brick wall in 5 minutes or less. Just call me Bob Villa, kidding. I share a funny story about my friend and her "A List" and "B List" Christmas cards. I've included a "hack" I made up for an easy way to cut the rectangle in the center for the window without measuring. Anyone who's ever cut a hole in a real brick wall would be jealous of this trick lol. Techniques on this video include: inking impressions folders, using markers to eliminate words, and making a window cut out card. Card design by Angela McKay, it was a viewers choice from my Founders Circle Swap video.

CARD: White Christmas Thinking of You Cut Out Card

stampin up white christmas cardThinking of You at Christmas Card from my all time favorite stamp set....White Christmas. It's my favorite stamp set because I got to name it!!!! True story, when I was at the Home Office 2 years ago for my Million Dollar Celebration, they were designing this stamp set. They asked me what I'd like to name it, and without hesitation I said "White Christmas"! And it's soooo stinkin' cute. Here's me at the Stampin Up Mfg Plant in Kanab, UT standing behind an entire sheet of White Christmas stamps. How cool is that?!?!? 1497707_10204915288502910_3706532749808932247_n This card is a neat design, the Lots of Labels die cut is the top "window" looking in on the snowman and polar bear.
