VIDEO: All Scenes Fall Window Card

stampin up happy scenes windowCreate this super fun window card with today's youtube video.The stamp set All Scenes from the Stampin Up Holiday Catalog, framelits are the Hearth and Home, and the "wall" was created with the Brick Wall impressions folder. Creates a fun fall scene peaking through the window. I filmed this a couple of weeks ago for my stamp club, and we were having a heat wave. I am holding onto summer this year more than ever, and watching the video today was cracking me up because you can hear the kid's swimming next door in the video, and today it's pouring cats and dogs out lol.

VIDEO: Stampin Up Founders Circle Recap and Card Shares

12027592_10200922291536509_3974967562321281997_n I might have had too much fun at the Stampin Up Founders Circle event this past week in St. George, UT. Somehow, lost my voice. It could be that I lost my voice from the laughter and good times with friends. You know when you laugh you hard you snort? Well that happened, over and over until we cried. Be prepared for this when you watch this video. Friday we went to the Stampin Up mfg plant in Kenab, UT . FC15_Blog Button 2This is my tenth year earning this event. The "theme" of this year's event was called "The Last Splash" because it is the last year Stampin Up is holding this event. They are updating their events, and this is one they will no longer be having. Each year, we each chose how we'd like to spend our time. Some go to relax, this year I decided to make it an adventure. Beginning with flying into Las Vegas a day early, with my friend Phyllis Shepard. It could be that I lost my voice here in the beginning on the "high Roller" ferris wheel, or jumping off a 810' building....hmmmmm....or it could be I lost it on the zip line or ATV tour. Coming up in this video is some exciting highlights of the trip, the mfg plant visit, our 110 person card swap and close ups of some of these amazing cards. Be prepared for a good laugh, and a little excitement....

BLOG HOP & VIDEO: Spooky Halloween Wow Card

I created this for a huge 110 person "card swap" I’m participating in while at Stampin Up's Founders Circle event in St. George, Ut this past week. You may already be following this event with me on my Facebook Page. Stay tuned for a video recap of those card swap ideas. I was inspired by Michele Zindorf. What do you think...Is this a full moon on the rise, or a setting sun? This card is not hard to make, and when you follow these few simple tips on the video, you’ll have amazing results. I'll share some brayer tips as well, including masking with a post it note.

The 3 Wise men are watercolored with the ink pads and aqua painters. The background is the Season of Cheer Designer paper, with Night of Navy card stock layered on top and textured with the Lucky Stars emboss folder. White craft ink was applied over the top. VIDEO: Silent Night Silver Glitter Splatter Card

It's surprisingly easy to create and make multiples of. This makes it a great choice for those larger Christmas/Holiday card lists. On today's video, I'll also show you how to create this gradient background with a brayer, along with some brayer tips. And I'll show you how to take this card from "cool" to "amazing" in 0-5 seconds with the Silver Glitter Splatter Technique.

VIDEO: Delicate Ornament Glimmer Christmas Wow Card

IMG_4433This gorgeous card idea from the Stampin Up Delicate Ornament stamp set / bundle comes from a recent card swap I hosted. I shared this card, from Kay Capps, on my latest video of Holiday Catalog card ideas. It was a "viewrs choice" in the poll I did from the video. Ranking as one of your favorites, and mine. I mixed it up a little bit by using a different piece of designer paper from this Winter Wonderland DSP package on the video. What do you think? Included on the video, I'll share 2 easy tips with the thinlits and dryer sheets that make popping out the pieces a snap. These ornaments are so pretty, you'll want to hang these on your tree instead of the card lol.
