This is a real wow card in person, the butterfly is sparkly! I love sparkle. I little dazzling diamonds glitter and a 2 way glue pen go a long way to shimmer up a project. It's hard to see in the picture, but the background is created with the Irresistibly Yours specialty paper and some blushing bride ink rubbed over the striped pattern for the stripes resist. The beautiful flowers are from the SAB Lotus Blossom stamp set. Today's gorgeous card uses both Staz On and Memento black ink pads. Why both you may ask? And what is the difference between the 2? From the packaging, these 2 ink pads look similar, but they have 2 different "personalities" or functions in the crafting world. Check out the details below. This card comes from the amazingly beautiful mind of my designer, Veronica Zalis. She is amazing! She stamped the Pleasant Poppies in Memento Ink and colored with Calypso Coral, Wild Wasabi, Daffodil Delight Blendabilities. The "Hello there" greeting was stamped in Staz On ink on Vellum card stock, switching to Staz On because it is permanent. ................................................................. Q: What is the difference between Staz On Ink and Momento Ink? A: Staz On ink is a permanent ink that is alcohol based. Because it is permanent, it's ideal for water coloring with water, or coloring with Stampin Write markers (water based) that are water based. It does not bleed, or smear and dries quickly on paper. You can also use it on other mediums such as fabrics, tiles, plastic, window sheets and more. Because it is alcohol based, you can't use it with alcohol based markers, such as the Stampin Up Blendabilities or it will smear or wipe off. Memento Ink comes in handy when you are using alcohol based coloring mediums such as Blendabilities, or Copics Markers. Q: Do I need both? A: If you are simply stamping on paper, than either will work. You would need both if you plan to use a coloring mediums such as Watercoloring (Staz On) or Alcohol based Blendabilities (Memento).

Hip! Hip! Hooray my blog and email are back up and running after a very long and frustrating day. My blog had been hacked and what a mess to try and get it resolved. It's FINALLY fixed and all is well with the universe again. My apologies for any inconveniences this may have caused anyone.
