Stampin Up Catalog Premiere Updates

10256211_10152150997158763_3466835459044110087_n Oh what a night!! Last night was the Stampin Up Catalog Premiere Event - for the first time EVER Stampin Up broadcasted a Live from Long Beach, CA to almost 40 locations throughout the United States. 1 being my hometime of Marlboro, Massachusetts!! Since I usually have to travel hours to the closest event when SU comes around, you can imagine my excitement. We were so excited Mom and I painted our car windows, or in my case, my truck windows...because nothing says "Red Carpet" like a pick up truck with window paint. Or was that "Red Neck"??? I'm sure it's "Red Something" hahaha. It actually came out cool, my kids helped. 10171190_10152150997198763_9089697594069013163_nStampin Up window paint truck windows stampwithtami My demonstrator group and friends all met at Olive Garden for a super fun dinner first. Hoping someone got a better picture than this one because there was so many of us, we didn't all fit in the picture. The second is me and my friend Selene Kempton at dinner. 10289905_10152151319123763_495285395168038339_n 10006179_10152151320673763_4409431146777563811_n 2 of my gals were asked to do registration for the event and had to miss dinner, so we photobombed Marie Aviza and Teresa Howe while they were working the desk. They also go to hand out prizes and the new catalog at the end of the night. The event was AMAZING!! We got to see lots of techniques, new products and got a new stamp set along with the new Catalog!! Shelli Gardner (CEO and Co-Founder of Stampin Up) took the stage and she looked fabulous, she gave an update from her accident she says she feels great. 10308354_10152151322818763_3675017058227423685_n 1422588_10152151329993763_4093758815763799913_n MEET THE NEW STAMPIN UP CATALOG!!! CARD: Amazing Sunflower WOW Card

sunflower-gail loweThis may just be one of the most amazing cards I've ever seen! I received this card 2 years ago from Gail Lowe, I hadn't met Gail yet. We were both on the Stampin' Up Disney trip that year. I was so awed by her card that I sought her out and finally found and met her on the last night during our Farewell dinner lol. She told me how she created the card, and I planned on making a video out of her cool and genius technique and then I lost the paper with Gail's instructions!!! So for 2 years this beautiful card has sat in my "Video Que" of projects waiting for me to film, but not going anywhere because I can't remember how she made it. Sunflower is one of my favorite stamps, and now that the it's retiring, I can't hide this beauty anymore. I have to share it. I apologize for not have instructions, but I'm guessing we can improvise and make similarly gorgeous creations with this stamp (but hurry it's almost gone forever).   Stampin Up Retirement list

VIDEO: “Outside the Holiday Box” Ornament Vase Card

backyard basics-stampin upI wanted to call this the "Spring Holiday Ornament Vase" card but that seemed like an oxymoron lol! It is an awesome outside the box idea for the Holiday Ornament Framelit, turning it into a vase. Check out today's video for the "how to" and some fun with the Backyard Basics stamp set.

Note: Sorry for the "tease"...This was originally created for my Stamp club last month. The Banner Blast stamp set and punch were Sale-a-Bration items that are no longer available. I am hoping maybe we'll see that punch again in the future. That portion could be easily subbed with another word set and not take away from the beauty of the card layout.dont keep calm stampin up retirement list

More Notes: So you don't miss out on anything stay tuned! The Stampin Up Retirement List is being announced Monday, April 21 and ALL ITEMS are WHILE SUPPLIES LAST! Both stamp sets AND accessories. Stay tuned for more details on both the Retirement Lists and New Catalogs coming shortly.

VIDEO: Reeses Peanut Butter Cup Flowers

reeses treat pops

So flippin' adorable and yummy, these Reese's Minatures Peanut Butter Cup flowers were made with the Stampin' Up Fun Flowers Sizzix die from Stampin Up. Very fun and easy to make a bunch. Great for Easter, shower gifts, birthday, etc. You can even make a "flower Garden" with a bunch of these. Check out my video below for the "how to". The hardest part is finishing without eating all of the peanut butter cups. Yummy chocolate treats.

CARD: Best from the Blue Ribbon

blue ribbon-cathyToday's card inspiration comes from the Stampin Up Blue Ribbon stamp set, the "Best" stamp. This is such a fun set, and a great combination with the Modern Medley DSP and Fancy Fan textured background. Designed by Cathy Zampogna.

CARD: Oh Hello Black and White Beauty

There is beauty in black and white, whether it's photographs, or cards. This card is such a great example of this. Featuring the "Oh, Hello" stamp set from Stampin Up. A little added sparkle from the Dazzling Details glitter pen. Designed by Margaret Van Vliet.

CARD: Chalk Talk For You

chalk talk-georgiaBeautiful "For You" card is made with the Chalk Talk stamp set and Modern Medley designer paper. The color is a little "off" from my camera, sorry about that. It's really pretty in person. Designed by Georgia Giguere.

CARD: Oh Hello “True Love”

oh hello-liz halbischToday's beautiful card inspiration comes all the way from 1/2 way around the world - Australia! Liz Halbisch created this gorgeous card with the Oh, Hello stamp set from Stampin' Up. I love the colors and layout. The flower is colored with the Gumball Green and Raspberry Ripple Stampin' Write markers in the 2012-2014 In Color Collection. So pretty!

the words "True Love" came from the MDS (My Digital Studio) download and printed on card stock.

VIDEO: Tami’s Bloopers, Blunders & Stamp Fails of 2014 – Part 1

stampwithtami-bloopers

This week my StampWithTami YouTube Channel hit 3 Million Views!! WOW! I'm so blown away, thank you so much for watching. 3 million dollar youtubeI love to inspire, and sometimes that inspiration comes in the form of "what not to do" lol. In honor of this, I'm breaking out some of those classic stamp fails that landed on the "editing room floor" to celebrate. Things I probably should be too embarrassed to share, but am sharing anyway.

In this edition (spanning videos from fall 2013 - early 2104):
I'm adding a a few new words to "Tami's Dictionary", still waiting to hear from Websters Dictionary to see my words make this years cut, kidding. Laughter is always the best medicine, is your "Wicked Witch" laugh good enough to scare the kids? What happens when you open up your framelit dies, only to find the one you need is missing? Do you handcut *gasp*, or change your project lol? We'll also cover why you shouldn't craft with drinks on the table. And of course, what's a Blooper video without an appearance from my Beagle, Flash Gordon. Love this dog! These and more funnies to make you smile and laugh....or just plain shake your head in wonder hahaha.

MORE INFO:

  • VIDEOS: I've posted thumbnails/links to the full videos that were featured in this blooper reel below. You can see all of my videos at a glance by clicking here >
  • STAMP CLUB: A few of the blooper reels from today’s mix are exclusive to my stamp club, if you are interested in my information on joining my stamp club, click here.
