VIDEO: Cute & Easy Gift Bag from Diane

I have a guest blogger today, my friend Diane Giarrusso! She's so talented, and she's created this gorgeous gift bag and video tutorial using the "From my Heart" stamp set and 1 sheet of card stock (seriously - 1 sheet). It's so easy with the Simply Scoring tool.

MDS: 2 Downloads you need to get now!

Check out our two new downloads this week. (PDF) You can still get in the holiday card action, after all. My favorite is this "Oops I'm Behind" postcard template #132845 for $2.95 - I used for this fun postcard. How cute is this?! Took all of 2 minutes to create with the template. I like it so much, didn't even change the colors (can you believe it??) I always have to change something lol.

CARD: The Reason for the Season – Part III

It’s Christmas Day and my series in the Reason for the Season posts has been leading up to this moment (much like in real life). No, I’m not talking about the “the presents” as much as I am “the presence“… the baby Jesus was born in a manger. This is… Read More

CARD: The Reason for the Season – Part II

Today's "Reason for the Season" card idea is from the "Come to Bethlehem" stamp set. It's a journey featuring the 3 Wise Men following the Christmas Star to the city of Bethlehem. Over 2,000 years ago, this very night, this scene would've occurred. The words say "Giving thanks for God's Gift of Love and the joy we share through Christ the Lord".

CARD: The Reason for the Season – Part I

As Christmas Eve and Day come upon us, and there is much to do with last minute shopping, wrapping, parties, friends, family and ... well you know what I'm talking about. I find it so important to keep reminding myself that Jesus is the Reason for the Season. Over the next few days I would like to share a couple of cards that I received from friends that are beautiful reminders of this glorious season. I hope you enjoy!

VIDEO TUTORIAL: Polar Bear Card & Awareness

The polar bear is a symbol of the Arctic, these majestic creatures are the world's largest land predator and the largest member of the bear family. I personally think he's the cutest too. He's also a symbol of Canada and Coca-Cola, just love those Coke Ads with them. I love them, and love the Polar Bear featured in the Zoo Review Stamp Set. He's so stinkin' adorable. This card idea was inspired by "The Zindorf", and I adapted it "Tamster Fashion" lol. It's surprisingly easy to make, see the video below. This card with it's beautiful setting sun back drop was a hit at my stamp club this month, and if you enjoy photo/written instructions you'll want to check out my stamp club memberships for this and more exclusive tutorials available to my club members.

CARD: My Christmas Card – MDS

I'm so excited about my Christmas Cards this year! It's a "tri-fold" card, I created them using out My Digital Studio software (MDS). I used the Bright Reviews Trifold Card Template #131331 as my starting base. Then changed the colors from red and white to Baja Breeze, Chocolate Chip and Very Vanilla. I switched and added a couple of photo layouts to fit the pictures I wanted to add and basically that was it!

CARD: Ho Ho Ho Santa card

I love this fun and easy card. I got this from my up-upline and friend Cheri Mandercheird. She used the Typeset Alphabet dies #127553 for the Big Shot to create the "Ho Ho Ho" and the background paper is Be of Good Cheer #126896.   REMINDER: The Free Ink Pad Special Ends TODAY!!!

KIT: The Fancy Friends Kit & Video

Gift idea alert! Looking for that special "something" to get that special "someone" who has everything? How about the gift of cards! We always need them. The Stampin' Up! Fancy Friends Kit #132319 is a great all occasion card set. You can give the kit itself as a gift to your favorite stamper (or stamper in training) OR make the cards in the kit and give them as your gift. It's a win/win either way. Everything you need to send a quick note to your friends! You can purchase this kit thru my online store (click here) and add it on to your order.

PROJECT: Ornament Keepsakes Decor Frame

Looking for gift ideas or fun holiday home decor? Here's a gorgeous and easy home decor frame made with the Ornament Keepsakes bundle and some other fun toys from the 2012 Holiday Catalog. This idea came from my friends Susan Adams and Janet Baker. The frame is a 4"x6", you can grab these anywhere (I think these came from Target). The words and ornaments layers are under the picture frame glass, but the ribbon tulle is tied and attached on top of the glass with a glue dot. This gives the frame a pop of dimension and a "wow" factor.

VIDEO TUTORIAL: The Grinch Who Stole Xmas in a Kit Kat

You're a mean one...Mr. Grinch...but you're oooooh soooo cute! And yummy too...Kit Kat snack sized. A Dr. Seuss classic, and who could forget his loveable cutie little dog Max? Max is a favorite in our house, maybe because he reminds us of our beagle. These are such fun to make for Christmas / holiday gifts and goodies, and great family projects. My 11 year old son has been stamping up a storm making sets of "Grinch & Max" for everyone, he's good too (check out his work on the video). What's better than chocolate and stamping? In fact, biggest issue with making these is not eating more Kit Kats than you make.

CARD – Open Sleigh Part III

Another fun card from my series of the Open Sleigh stamp set…which still makes me want to sing every time I say it lol! Congratulations to Jinny Luga who won my Facebook drawing for a free Watercolor Winter stamp set! Thanks to all who’ve posted projects, they are all awesome.… Read More
