Halloween House of Haunts fun

bat-pop-up-card2It's time to start breaking out the Halloween fun! This card was shared at my last demonstrator meeting, it is just amazing! Created with the House of Haunts (111574), From the Crypt (115460) and Graveyard Gala (115458) Stamp Sets. The front uses the new Stampin' Up Vintage Wallpaper (120175) embossing folder for the Big Shot. The inside cloud background was created using the scallop circle punch technique (see Hooty the Owl video for instructions >) The background also uses Bring on the Bats (120326) & Haunting Hill (116539) jumbo wheels. Stay tuned this week for some BIG EXCITEMENT as I post my 100th YouTube video and more!!!

Win It In a Minute – SU Game Show

bg4 Every year at the Stampin' Up Annual Convention, there is a game show. It is always funny, and this year was not a disappointment. This year's game show was called "Win It In a Minute", an SU version of the popular game show "Minute to Win It". Instead of choosing random participants from the attendees this year there was a "qualifying" cup stacking game at the Flower Power party. My friends Cheryl and BJ wanted to play the cup stacking game, so I headed over with them, not realizing we were "qualifying" for anything. I thought we were just playing a game. After we each went, the gal at the booth wrote down our times and mine was the lowest on the sheet (granted there were only 10 names on the sheet at the time).

My Digital Studio Scrapbooking

tami-waddell1Here are some super cool My Digital Studio (MDS) scrapbook page layouts from another Tami W., my up-up-line Tami Waddell. She is really great with digital layouts, and she gave me her permission to share a couple she did of her family. This first page she used the stamp set World Tour Brush Set (#119103 - $3.95) & Rough Type Alphabet stamp brush (#121066 - $9.95).

A present from Dawn! Vroom Vroom

tami-dawn-convention-2010My friend Dawn Griffith's recently became a "Harley Mama" when her hubby got a new Harley Davidson motorcycle. I got my new Harley the week before convention, and she brought me this shirt from the Harley shop in Michigan!! THANKS DAWN!!! Here's a picture of the two of us "Biker Babes", I love this picture. What you can't see is my formal gown under the shirt...should've put it on for the total "Cyndi Lauper" style effect hehehe.

Convention, fun and friendships!

conventionHere are some more pictures from our trip to Salt Lake City, Ut last week for Stampin' Up!'s Annual Convention. One of the best, most cherished, things Stampin Up has brought to my life is new friends. Both in my customers, the demonstrators in my group (that span from coast to coast now) and also in the awesome women I've met at all of the Stampin' Up events who have now become some of my best friends!
