VIDEO: How to make a Work of Art Easter Egg Card

CARD

The Stampin Up Work of Art stamp set strikes again with this awesome card. This could quite possible be the most versatile stamp set ever! A "must have" set for your wish list. I've included more fab ideas created with this great stamp set below. This card is a gorgeous Easter Egg Window Card. Quick, easy and super cool! Inspired by Jennifer Downey. Check out my YouTube video below for "how to" instructions. NOTE: If you own the wood block version like me, and you've taken it out of the box. You may be having some "fun" trying to fit the "puzzle" of wood blocks back in the box. I took a picture of mine in the box, and stuck it to the inside of the box for future reference. Hope this helps.

Never too late to celebrate the Red, White and blue...check out my video on this Fabulous patriotic American Flag card created with the Stampin Up Work of Art stamp set. I love projects like this one, when you can go "outside the box" with stamp sets. I apologize for being a few days late for the 4th of July with this one. Great for so many occasions: summer, birthday, service, cards for troops, celebrate, etc. Inspired by Michelle Suit.

Love, love, looooove this card design...the Artist Palette from the Stampin Up Work of Art Stamp Set. Check out the video below for details on how to make this card. If you don't have this Work of Art stamp set, you need to put it on your list. It's my new "go to" stamp set for everything. So many ideas outside and inside the box with it. This was one of my swap cards for Stampin Up's annual Convention in Salt Lake City last week. (Click here to read more ). Designed by my friend Ellen Quintin via Paula Reid. TIP FOR WOOD MOUNT SET: Work of Art is a new stamp set in the 2014-15 Stampin Up Catalog. I highly recommend purchasing this set in Clear Mount, simply because my wood mount set is very hard to fit in the box. It’s like a puzzle and only seems to go a specific way. So I took a picture, printed it and stuck it to the inside of the box for the future. Here’s my picture in case you experience the same puzzle.

Looking for patriotic summer time ideas? Look no further, in today's video we are going "outside the box" to make this cool card. It's a great "thank you" for your loved one in the Military, veteran, or just summer theme. The flag is fun to make out of the sketch design pieces in the stamp set. VIDEO: Poppin’ Butterfly “Work of Art” Card

This video comes by popular demand from a post a couple of weeks ago featuring this "poppin' butterfly" in Daffodil Delight (click for original post). It really is a wow! All it takes is some simple layering, a couple stampin' dimensionals and a little sponging to make this butterfly POP right off the card. It's 3D without the funky glasses!

CARD: Trust god you are a ‘Work of Art’

The message on this card seemed like the perfect share after returning from a weekend with my boys. We attended a Teen Retreat with the church Youth Group. It was an amazing weekend that I was blessed to be a part of. "Each one of us is God's special work of art" ~ So true!!

The words are from the Trust God stamp set, the butterfly is from Papillon Potpourri. What really makes this card "pop" is the layering of the butterfly (see close up below). The butterlfies in this set match the punches, making the layers simple and easy. The bottom section of the butterfly was raised up on Stampin' Dimensionals once. The upper wings were raised up in two layers. Just a touch of sponging under the butterfly creates a stunning effect!
