VIDEO TUTORIAL: Batman Box & Card - 100th Video!

I’m very excited to be presenting my 100th YouTube Video Tutorial!! WAHOO!! This Batman Chocolate Matchbox treat holder was inspired by one of my favorite roller coasters…Batman The Dark Knight. Originally, I’d made the blue box and matching card. Was stamping with the kids and friends, and my friend Shayna designed the black box with the spotlight and we just about flipped out over it. That become the new winner of the 100th Video, and it tops the stinkin’ cute-o-meter!

A quick and easy project for the Batman fan in your life, using my favorite new punch the Bat Punch and the Matchbox die for the Big Shot. As you’ll see, not only is the box fun, I had a blast making this video, from my son’s Batman mood ring to some special effects (including my own Batman sound effects for the big shot hehehe).

Check out this gorgeous vintage 3-d card made by a Cullen (and I’m not talking about Edward you crazy Twilight fans…mind off the Vampire hehehe)! This was made by my downline, Linda Cullen (who may be related - kidding). Linda created this for our demo group shoebox swapthis past week. It is just stunning in person! Not only does this video demonstrate how to achieve this “aged” look, it demonstrates how to use the Spiral book binding punch and 3-d flowers using the scallop circle punch. Packed full of great tips!

VIDEO TUTORIAL: “Trading Cases” Sunflower Sweet Treats

“Trading Cases” Stampin style! In the crafting world, we have an acronym called ”CASE” it stands for “Copy and Share Everything“. CASEing is what enables many of us who aren’t naturally “gifted” with the creativity “gene” to feel like we are “queens of cuteness” (quote from Cheryl H.).

Recently my friend Mary Fish and I had a bout of project envy. Project Envy = drooling over each other’s creations (happens a lot, you may suffer from this too). So how does one cure “project envy”? One CASES of course! Warning:CASEing causes excitement, pride and extreme satisfaction. Mary had created the most incredible “Sunflower” (or Black Eyed Susan as I like to call it) out of sweet treat cups, oval punches and m&ms. I just flipped over it. She went crazy over Punchy the Lion! So we crafted up the fun idea to CASE each other and post them together…so today’s blog post is dubbed “Trading Cases“!

This is my CASEd version of Mary’s Sunny & Sweet Treat project and here is Mary’s version of Punchy the Lion. I put a quick video (below) together show how to create this gorgeous candy treat card.

VIDEO TUTORIAL: Lucky Charms Shamrock

Today’s video is inspired by my kid’s favorite breakfast cereal….Lucky Charms! I just kept thinking “pink hearts, yellow moons, great clovers…” while I was stamping it. The shamrock is another fun use for the large heart punch you bought for Valentine’s day (didn’t know it was so versatile did ya?). This would not only make a great St. Patrick’s Day card, it’s perfect to wish someone good luck on an upcoming event.
