VIDEO TUTORIAL: Telescoping Snowman Card

So unbelievably cool!! Part 1 of my 2 part series on Frosty the snowman is a WOW card, it rolls out into a 3 section snowman! This card is called a telescoping card. Not only is it great for Christmas Holidays, but it can be used for just about any winter theme party, birthday, etc. The idea came from a swap card I received last July from Andrea Shields, it’s been killing me to wait this long to share it hehehe!! So many cool ideas, so few days in the week to share them lol. I surprised my stamp club members with it this month, and it was a huge hit!

I love this card!! Such a beautiful and eye catching holiday card. This technique uses a super cool background technique that involves brayering on an impressions folder. It’s surprisingly easy to do…really, check out the video below for details. This card was created by my friend Mary Polcin.
Funny Note: this video was originally made last year for my club members, the ribbon punch was new at the time I was filmimg. So new, in fact, I didn’t even own it yet and had to borrow my mom’s punch lol! Of course I bought it immediately after making the card, and we have used it many times since (you’ll probably laugh at that part).

VIDEO TUTORIAL: Paper Pinwheel Technique

Oooohh and aaahhh over this super cool paper pinwheel technique, demonstrated in today’s video tutorial. This was taught to me by my friend, April Lopez. To be honest, at first I was a little intimidated. It looked really complicated, but once she showed me I freaked out at how easy it was to do!
The 2 Step Bird punch in vanilla creates the look of a Christmas Dove on the front, and although this sample is shown in Christmas colors, you could easily make this for any occasion. I’ll also show you a cool tip for using your new Scallop Ribbon Border punch.

It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Here is a great, beautiful, quick and easy gift tag idea for your Christmas gifts this holiday season. These are made with the Stampin Up Two Tags die (115954) for the Sizzix Big shot, and the Sweet Season Stamp Set (116471). Check out today’s video for how to make these great gift tags. You’ll see how to use Stampin Write markers direct to rubber to get multiple colors per image, and how to omit part of an image.
