Today’s lesson is how to create these gorgeous boxes using the new Mini Project box downloads from Stampin Up. You don’t even need the My Digital Studio program to make these stinkin’ cool boxes, just the download from my store. Simply print off my instruction sheet, download the templates and you’re on your way!
The instruction sheet gives step by step instructions on how to use and print your template on the computer (both My Digital Studio and MS Word instructions). Then the video demonstrates how easy it is to put your box together, once you’ve printed. We’ll also be using the Fabulous Beautiful Butterflies Embosslit in the Big Shot to make the amazing, shimmery butterflies.

“Trading Cases” Stampin style! In the crafting world, we have an acronym called ”CASE” it stands for “Copy and Share Everything“. CASEing is what enables many of us who aren’t naturally “gifted” with the creativity “gene” to feel like we are “queens of cuteness” (quote from Cheryl H.).
Recently my friend Mary Fish and I had a bout of project envy. Project Envy = drooling over each other’s creations (happens a lot, you may suffer from this too). So how does one cure “project envy”? One CASES of course! Warning:CASEing causes excitement, pride and extreme satisfaction. Mary had created the most incredible “Sunflower” (or Black Eyed Susan as I like to call it) out of sweet treat cups, oval punches and m&ms. I just flipped over it. She went crazy over Punchy the Lion! So we crafted up the fun idea to CASE each other and post them together…so today’s blog post is dubbed “Trading Cases“!
This is my CASEd version of Mary’s Sunny & Sweet Treat project and here is Mary’s version of Punchy the Lion. I put a quick video (below) together show how to create this gorgeous candy treat card.
Gorgeous, vintage emboss resist stencil…yes…stencil! True story! Check out today’s video demoing an emboss resist technique using the Stampin Up Folk flowers Stencil (Occasions mini) combined this with the Vintage Vogue stamp set for an incredible look. Stencils…more then just fabulous walls and fabrics! Who knew?
Today’s video is inspired by my kid’s favorite breakfast cereal….Lucky Charms! I just kept thinking “pink hearts, yellow moons, great clovers…” while I was stamping it. The shamrock is another fun use for the large heart punch you bought for Valentine’s day (didn’t know it was so versatile did ya?). This would not only make a great St. Patrick’s Day card, it’s perfect to wish someone good luck on an upcoming event.
With the versatility of the Define Your Life stamp set (see image below), you can change the “lucky” definition to any of these stamps and change the occasion of the card for just about anything. You can purchase the Define You Life set thru my online store, or get it free as a bonus in theDemo Kit specialgoing on now thru March 31.
Combine the Voila the Chef stamp with the new Country Living Cards a la Carte kit for this super stinkin’ cute card. The Country Chic style of the Cards a la Cart stationery kit comes with the designer paper and super cute Dinner party stamp set. It compliments the chef for this fun look. Check it out in today’s video.
Today’s super cool video tutorial and technique goes out to the “Luck ‘o the Irish“. This video comes from my friend, and downline, Jenni Ingerick. She’s super talented, and also makes great videos. Jenni will show us how to create this awesome rainbow swipe (you’ll die when you see how easy this is), and the stinkin’ cute pot of gold made from our punches.
Join me today’s video and we’ll create this stinkin’ cute card using the Top Note die as a purse. Love the colors of the Cottage Wall designer paper, and don’t miss the coolest technique showing how to use the color spritzer for the background. The best part, I got this stamp set for FREE thanks to Sale a Bration (click here for more).
Secrets of magic revealed! No, I won’t be wearing a mask, I’ll just keep my face hidden hehehe - kidding (not really) but I don’t think David Copperfield will be coming after me for revealing this secret. This technique definitely falls under “cards that make you go…WOW!” It looks like an innocent “stinkin’ cute” sock monkey at first glance, then SURPRISE! Pull up the tab and Sock Monkey changes color…like magic.
Check out today’s 2 part video series below, and learn how to create some magic…with the magic card! The first video shows how to create the magic card, I’ve also created a template for you as a bonus! The second video demonstrates how to use the Many Marvelous Markers to blend and shade for dimension.
