I created our family Christmas card using Stampin’ Up’s My Digital Studio Software this year! I loved being able to add a bunch of photos and captions to the inside of the card. Confession, I really, really wanted to type a family Christmas letter in there but I just couldn’t get it written…so my apologies to the family, we’ll just have to tell you about our year in person hehehe.
I began the front of the card with an MDS template, and then added a picture and changed the designer paper. Then I created a custom design for the inside, and used a photo template for the round pics inside.
The printed size will by 5×7. I just had them professionally printed through the My Digtial Studio program (online) and had the shipping expedited so they will be here this week!! Yeah. They’ll even come with envelopes!!
Join me today for My Digital Studio 101 Basics - the video tutorial. Whether you just purchased the BRAND NEW Stampin’ Up My Digital Studio software, or want to but have been waiting to see how it works…this video will help you get started. The video is much easier to see then my first MDS tutorial, and you’ll find this more helpful.
In this video, I’ll be creating this digital scrapbook page. You’ll learn how to import photos, stamp, punches, text and paper to your MDS (My Digtal Studio) project. AS well as changing colors and adding drop shadows.
I’ll be demonstrating how the program is so easy to use, you don’t need to know your left from right to make beautiful creations in it! It’s entertainment, as well as education.
I love the picture, it’s from a recent Stampin’ Up Founder’s Circle trip of my buds Patty Bennett, Dawn Griffith, Tiffany Bauer, Ann Clemmer and myself. We had so much fun (thanx for the pic Dawn!!).
I’ve done it! My very first (of many) My Digital Studio software video tutorials! Part 1 is an introduction to MDS (My Digital Studio) and creating a photo album using a pre-designed template and the picture auto-fill feature. All of the products shown in this video came with the original MDS program, with the exception of the Medallion stamp that is an “add on” download (you can download this in my store). You’ll also see how to add embellishments, text and create dimension using shadows.
I apologize for it ending abruptly, I had some technical difficulties. Stay tuned for more MDS tutorials and learn how to add photos and create pages manually, and learn basic and advanced digital media techniques.
I used the new Stampin Up My Digital Studioto create my customer “wish list” this season, on top of everything else, MDS makes the most amazing flyers!
Be sure to download your Wish List, and give it to Santa so you’ll be sure get what you want this holiday season!

Last week some of my team and I went on a road trip to a Stampin’ Up! Regional event in Portland, ME. One of my gals, Ellen, drove all the way from Maryland to meet us there!! I think she gets the prize the longest travel, and it was soooo worth it. We had the BEST time, it was so much fun. Swapping, stamping, laughing and gabbing.
I gave a “workshop wow” presentation, tomorrow I’ll share a video tutorial of the technique and one of my presentation projects. It’s pretty darn cool and super cute:)
This is a scrapbook page of some of our pictures I created in just a few minutes in My Digital Studio. I am in love with this program, it’s so easy to make super cool projects like this, that I may actually get caught up on my scrapbooking! Imagine that.
Do you enjoy photos in your Christmas and holiday cards? Check out these beautiful works of digital stamping art, made with Stampin’ Up’s My Digital Studio software. I created these in about 5 minutes, using stamps, designer paper and embellisments digitally. I LOVE THEM, they are actual folded cards, yet they look like they are hand stamped. Too cool for school!

For the past 8 or so years, I’ve made family photo calendars for all of our parents and grandparents. It helps me to remember to take family photos at all events so I’ll have good shots for the calendars. I used to use a service through my photo printing place, and they were great BUT I’ve just learned that Stampin’ Up’s My Digital Studio makes calendars, so I tried one. Not only was it faster, quicker and easier than the calendars I use to have made; I can customize the ENTIRE calendar (no more layout limits) and have options on sizes too. I am in hog heaven!!!
I made up this calendar for my Dad for Christmas. The pics were all from our last trip down to visit him in Key West earlier this year. OMG!! this was so much fun to make and I can’t wait to make these for everyone for holiday presents. They so stinkin’ cool!!! The first page is the calendar cover, the pages after will hang photo page over calendar when it’s printed. This finished calendar is 12×12:
Monday night Steve and I went to the U2 concert at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, MA! Our friends Karen and Andrew invited us to the concert in a suite, it was so much fun!! I couldn’t wait to come home and play with the pictures in Stampin’ Up’s My Digital Studio program. I created an entire book from scratch. It was my first album, this one I did in 8×8, there are 5 sizes to choose from. I am totally hooked, this is the coolest program ever!!!
This is the cover of the album, it uses jumbo & silver brads, stitching, distressed background paper.
For this page I used one of my concert photos for the background for a cool effect. The rest of the pages use the Extreme Elements stamp set as accents.
Stampin’ Up is going digital!! It’s a true, it’s a little scary and it’s soooooooooo exciting!!! A brand new product line of digital scrapbooking called My Digital Studio will be released on October 1. It’s featured in the Holiday Mini Catalog on page 39.
This is my very first project, this image is going to be the cover of my photo book from our trip to Hawaii with Stampin’ Up. I used Soft Suede and the Baroque Motiffs right from the program. This was super easy and fun, I’ll post the rest of the album soon stay tuned.
