FROM THE KIT

2021 SEPTEMBER PAPER PUMPKIN

These are the projects from this month’s September 2021 kit, per the instructions. The kit made 12 treat boxes: apple, pumpkins, or jack-o-lantern. And everything had a use including the box! The box is designed to easily transform into a vintage wheelbarrow.

2021 PAPER PUMPKIN

In addition to sharing how to make the treat boxes on my video above, I’ve also included a video from Stampin’ Up sharing how to assemble the wheelbarrow AND written instructions with step by step photos I took as I assembled mine. I took a photo of the template inside the box as well because the numbers for each piece weren’t attached when I cut out the pieces. This way you can reference the photo.

The treat boxes are double sided. There are 3 designs. So you can make pumpkins, or jack-o-lanterns…or both. Honestly, you can make so many more than 3 different designs with the double sided boxes.

2 of the treat box patterns have Poppy Parade patterns on 1 side so you can make apple treat boxes too. I think this one could be an apple or a strawberry. What do you think?

This shows all of the different patterns. The green could be an apple, pumpkin, gourd, etc.

OUTSIDE THE BOX ALTERNATES

I combined the kit with the Stampin Up Cork Sheets, Diorama Die Set and Detailed Pumpkin Dies to create a set of 5 cards.

I’ve also used the Blackberry Beauty Designer Series Paper, Brushed Metallic Card Stock and Champagne Rhinestones. The pdf above has the individual measurements for each card.

The pumpkins come from the Stampin’ Up Detailed Pumpkin die set. These dies coordinate with the Pretty Pumpkins stamp set. You could use that stamp set for the words (or any stamp set) if you didn’t have the kit.

On the video, I’ll share a trick to create this gorgeous pumpkin using the Detailed Pumpkin dies, Brushed Metallic cardstock and Stampin’ Up Shimmer Gold Vellum.

I used the Wink of Stella Glitter Pen on the leaves to add sparkle and shimmer.

The kit came with pre-die cut leaves in Soft Succulent. They are white on the back, so it’s easy to make them any color with a sponge dauber. Here I used Melon Mambo and the Soft Succulent together.

See the video to learn how to create this “window showcase” technique with the Diorama Dies.
