EASTER EGG TREAT BOXES & BLOG HOP
Welcome to my Stamp It Demonstrator’s Group Easter/Spring Themed Blog Hop. We’re all really excited to unveil our projects, and announce a new contest giveaway. To continue on your journey through our projects, simply use the BLOG HOPPERS links below.
My blog hop project and video class are these adorable Easter Egg Basket Treat Boxes. The can hold a Cadbury chocolate egg, or any other candy, treat or gift that is around that size. The chicks from the the Stampin’ Up Full of Happiness stamp set. Did you know the Dino Dies also coordinate with this stamp set? It’s true. It’s in tiny print in the Mini Catalog but who reads the fine print?? I didn’t lol.
I used the Wild Rose Dies for the handles, and a quick trick with the Tailored Tag punch for a “kick stand” on the back to keep them standing up. These Wild Rose Dies can be purchased in my online store, or you can get them free until March 31 as part of Sale-a-bration’s 3rd release.
I also used the Corrugated Folder to create the grass inside the basket. I’ll share how I did this on the video. I used the Mini Paper Trimmer that is part of the Sale-a-bration Demo Kit Special (only available until March 31) but you could use scissors too.
