Myths & Magic Series Part 4: Set of Mermaid Birthday Wishes Cards

Following yesterday's set of boy cards, today's awesome set of Myths & Magic birthday cards is aimed at the girls in your life. From my little mermaid and beyond. You can easily create a bunch of to have on hand, or to create for birthday party invitations. They are made new Stampin Up Myths & Magic Specialty Paper and Scattered Sequins Dynamic Impressions Folder. The "Birthday Wishes" sentiment comes from the Happy Wishes Level 2 Sale-a-bration Set. How do I make it? The different mermaids were cut out of the designer paper, creating a fun set of mix and match designs. The melon mambo oval is cut from the Layering Ovals, and the Whisper White is cut from the Stitched Shapes dies. The Marina Mist panel is textured with the Scattered Sequins folder, then a touch of Wink of Stella on the dots for shimmer. Assemble with Snail Adhesive, using Dimensionals on the Mermaid and oval panels. Measurements: Card Base = 8-1/2" x 5-1/2", Marina Mist = 5-1/4"x 4", Scraps of Whisper White and Melon Mambo for oval dies.Myths & Magic Part 3: Set of Birthday Wishes Knights & Dragons Cards

Today's set of birthday cards is a fantastic, quick and easy design. you can easily create a bunch of to have on hand, or to create for birthday party invitations. They are made with a combination of the new Stampin Up Myths & Magic Specialty Paper (knights and dragons) and the True Gentleman DSP for the background. The knights and dragon characters were cut out of the designer paper, creating a fun set of mix and match designs. I've showcased several of the different characters, on a few different sheets of the True Gentleman background paper. This set was designed by my friend Elizabeth Jeanne Thatcher. I'm really excited about today's online class video. I designed this card last month for a card swap, and it quickly become one of my favorite cards, from one of my favorite new suites in the Stampin Up Occasions Catalog. This is Part 2 in my 4 part series on the Myths & Magic Suite. Love the dragon and knight from the Magical Day stamp set (and not just because my maiden name was Knight lol). The words come from the Petal Palette stamp set, I thought they worked with this card perfectly. I am loving this new Stampin' Up Myths & Magic Suite. The knights, dragons, mermaids, unicorns and wizards are too cute for words. I'll be featuring this suite in a 4 part series on my blog and Facebook this week. So many cool ideas. I shared a sneak peek of the series on the Stampin Scoop Show Catalog Launch yesterday. This card was created by Rachael Coon for our Occasions catalog card swap (click here to see the replay of the live card swap). She stamped the mermaid from the Magical Day Stamp Set, colored with Brights Stampin Write Markers and cut it with the Stitched Shapes dies. The words were stamped on Bermuda Bay card stock and cut out. The card design works for either a "pull up" style, or the front flap can fold down (this card folds down). The background paper is from the Myths & Magic Specialty paper. Stay tuned tomorrow for my Facebook Live class (noon est), which is part 2 of my 4 part series. We'll be coloring the knights and dragons in this stamp set with the Stampin Blends markers, and more cool techniques.
