CARD: Thank You Card from the Petal Palette Stamps – Part 1

CARD

The Stampin Up Petal Palette stamp set and coordinating Petals & More dies are such a beautiful and versatile bundle. Today begins a new series of card ideas featuring this bundle. I’ll be blogging (and Facebooking) new installments to this series throughout the rest of the week (including Saturday’s Blog Hop) and into next week.

Each new card in this series will feature quick “how to make it” instructions and measurements on the blog post. Along with the complete supply list.

Today’s card was designed by Veronica.

How do I make it?

Using Island Indigo ink, stamp the bird image on white scrap paper. Using Basic Black ink, stamp the words on the white strip. Use paper snips to cut the banner tail (optional: use the triple banner punch).

Using the Big Shot Die Cut Machine: Cut the oval from the Stitched Shapes dies, the branch is cut from the Petals and more dies with the Wood Textures DSP and the Indigo panel is textured with the Layered Leaves folder.

Assembly: Assemble the card with Snail Adhesive, using Dimensionals on the white panels. Attach the burlap and embellishment with a mini glue dot.

Measurements: White White Card Base = 11″ x 4-1/4″, Island Indigo = 2-1/2″ x 4-1/4″, Whisper White = 2″ x 3/4″ and scraps of Whisper White for the oval die and bird cut out.
