This card is just awesome! I love the emboss resist technique. The star fish image is from the Stampin Up Picture Perfect stamp set. On the background, it's heat embossed in white, then sponged. The embossing will resist the ink on the sponge creating this cool effect. The words are heat embossed on the Sale-a-Bration botanicals vellum stack. VIDEO: The Wilderness Awaits Watercoloring

Today's sweet doggie card is a quick watercolor card from the Stampin Up Wilderness Awaits stamp set. He makes a great masculine card, and fits many occasions. I made this live on Periscope last night for my blog this morning and posted the replay on Facebook. You can watch the replay even if you don't have the Periscope app yet. Don't laugh too much at my antics, I can't edit out live broadcasts, you get what you get hahaha.
I share a few tips on how to get a nice clean image with the background stamps, and how to make your own "candy dot" colors. Stay tuned to the end of the video from some more card ideas using the Wilderness Awaits stamp set.
