The story of George the Photobombing Giraffe....it all started in New Jersey of all places. I take my kids and friends on a road trip to 6 Flags Great Adventure every year for the extreme rides. They have a safari there with giraffes. Last year by accident we ended up on platform having a private feeding with the giraffes, and this happened:
What do ya think? I think it looks just like him lol! The kids won a stuffed giraffe to commemorate that day, that we’ll all never forget. We named him George the photobombing giraffe, and he still shows up in the background of our trip photos.

On this video I'll show you how to make this stinkin' cute George the Giraffe treat box, including a few tips. Like how to keep those smaller framelits in place, and how to use the ear die for his face without getting the score line.

Most of the papers in the catalog get retired each year, and once the retirement list is announced (it hasn't been released yet) they will be "while supplies last" and sell out quickly. We encourage you to purchase your favorite papers now before it's too late.

CARD: Wishing You All the Beautiful Blessings of Easter

Happy Easter! Every Easter morning, my boys, my mom and myself get up at the crack of dawn (literally) and go to a sunrise service out in Grafton, Massachusetts. It's early, but it's worth it. Here's a picture I took last year. I hope everyone has a wonderful day.
This card is such a beautiful card. Created with the Suite Sayings stamp set and Birthday Bouquet designer paper. The flowers were cut with the Botanical Builder framelits. Then watercolored with aqua painters and ink pads on Watercolor paper. The background ribbon is Jute.

For a few weeks now I've been stamping my blog projects live on Periscope. Normally, I'd be stamping projects these for the next day's post by myself and posting a photo. But one Friday afternoon, I turned on the Perioscope app while I was stamping and enjoyed it so much it's become a Friday afternoon "thing". I find myself looking forward to hanging out with you guys on Friday afternoons, and excited to make my project with you.
Since the big Sale-a-Bration event is ending in a few days (see below), I wanted to make one last tribute to SAB. So here's the card I made today. I posted the replay video below.

I love this card from the Stampin Up Friends & Flowers stamp set. The fishy is so fun, and it's perfect with the It's Wild background stamp. He's punched out with the matching Festive Flower punch. WEDDING CARD
This is my shimmery wedding card blog hop project. It's an elegant, shimmery wow card, created with the Stampin Up Birthday Blooms stamp set. I have the "how to" video below for quick and easy instructions. The coordinating Blushing Bride sequins, glimmer paper and card stock really pulls everything together. Even thought this was designed for a wedding card, you can switch out the greeting to many of the others in the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set and make this for other occasions (Mother's day, birthday, sympathy, thank you, etc). Designed by Kim Wright.

VIDEO: March Paper Pumpkin Reveal, 4 Alternate Projects & Giveaway

Very excited about this March 2016 Anniversary Special Edition Paper Pumpkin "blue box" kit. It's called "Pocket Full of Cheer", and it arrived in a Bermuda Bay box (instead of orange) this month. So fun! It is blue this month in honor of Paper Pumpkin's 3 year anniversary.
Since the box was Bermuda Bay, I decided to make my alternate cards to match it. These are quick and easy cards created from both the stamp sets and embellishments that came in the kit. Check out my video below to see the kit, learn how to make these cards, and check out my new giveaway.

This is a fun "thank you" card for those hard to find "guy" ideas. Always in need of a few good masculine cards. This was created from the Stampin Up Going Global stamp set and Stars Framelits. The background was created with the Work of Art and Gorgeous Grunge stamp sets.
CARD: Rose Wonder “Stained Glass” Birthday Beauty Wow Card

Today's beautiful card was created with the "stained glass" technique. It features the Stampin Up Rose Wonder stamp set and coordinating Rose Garden Framelits. Last month I created a "how to" video (link below) for this stunning technique. The inside of the rose was created with Love Blossoms dsp, Dazzling Diamonds glimmer paper and Blushing Bride card stock. The background was textured with the Brick Wall folder, then the edges were sponged.

This Timeless Elegance peek-a-boo card and milk carton style gift box set are "wow" projects. Made with the Stampin Up Timeless Elegance designer paper. This "milk carton" style box is super easy to make, and makes a great gift package for so many occasions: birthday, wedding favors, thank you, etc. The embellishments are from the Botanical Builder Framelits and Metal Rimmed Pearls. I "cased" (copied) this card idea from the Stampin Up demo magazine for this blog post. I made it my own by changing the colors and stamp sets (supplies below). The Color Me Irresistible paper was on special this week, so I've been having some fun playing with it. This is an "Ombre Resist" technique. Instead of just photographing the card after I made it, I Periscoped a live broadcast while I was making it. It was like stamping with friends. CARD MEASUREMENTS- Base: 8-1/2" x 5-1/2" folded in half
