Still winter here in New England, but that isn’t stopping me from dreaming of the beach and days to come. This conch seashell card is striking with it’s monochromatic color scheme, and perfectly placed elements. Images from the Stampin Up “By the Tide” stamp set, and 3 impressions folders: Designer Frames, Fancy fan and Framed Tulips. Designed by Tammy Johnson.
The Fancy Fan layer was created with a cool technique of inking up the impressions folder either with the ink pad directly, or with a brayer. I made a video a few years ago demonstrating this technique, you can view it here >
